About the Role:
This is a contract (3+ months) remote role for a SQL Database Administrator. The SQL Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining SQL databases, ensuring the availability, performance, and security of databases. Day-to-day tasks include database replication, database design, and troubleshooting. The role also involves monitoring system health and performance, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security. The SQL Database Administrator will work closely with the development team to ensure proper database design and optimal performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Database Administration and Databases
- Skills in Replication and Database Design
- Strong Troubleshooting skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate is beneficial
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is a plus
