Core Responsibilities Include:

·      Design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL processes for acquiring, cleaning, and transforming large volumes of data from diverse sources into our data warehouse.

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure the seamless flow of data across systems.

·      Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.

·     Conduct regular testing and performance tuning of ETL processes to optimize data processing times.

·      Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide technical solutions.

·      Collaborate with the IT team to integrate data systems and streamline data flow across the organization.

·      Document the data architecture, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain a comprehensive reference for the team.

·      Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data engineering.

·      Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization of data infrastructure.

To be successful in this role you should understand:

• Proficient in database design, SQL, and data modeling.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Informatica).
• Familiarity with data technologies and distributed computing.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.

VISTAS is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer for one of our clients in
Phoenix, AZ. As an IT Infrastructure Engineer you will be part of our IT
Operations team, operating in a converged IP environment who are responsible
for the design, migration, implementation, enhancement, optimization, and
maintenance of the enterprise network and IT infrastructure. The candidate is
expected to act as a senior network engineer on various technical projects
including but not limited to infrastructure consolidation and integration,
architecture redesigns and updates, as well as routine security related operational
responsibilities.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Provide technical expertise and assist with network infrastructure
integration and consolidation efforts across multiple network environments

• Oversees the day-to-day health of the enterprise and customer network
infrastructure, with a focus on assuring stability, capacity and organizational
productivity. The network is a converged IP network carrying data, voice and
video with a variety security applications/services , web content filtering and
nextgen firewall devices

• Provide advanced application level support for the resolution of network
related requests

• Addresses and resolves technical problems relating to the installation,
upgrade, and daily operation of local and regionally distributed network
infrastructure across multiple data centers

• Interface with customers, vendors, and other technical staff to analyze
business and technical requirements relating to network infrastructure

• Works closely with Datacenter Manager to establish and deliver consistent
technical direction, collect and analyze performance metrics, establish and
enforce service level agreements

• Document engineering standards and proposals, leads or assists in the
development of network designs, changes, and configuration management

• Assist in evaluating current and emerging networking technologies,
conducts technical assessments, and makes recommendations to IT Operations Team

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills in addition to the
ability to effectively manage and prioritize individual projects and tasks.
Possess superior written and oral communication skills. Solid vendor management
skills are required. Position may require occasional travel to other locations
throughout the continental U.S.

To be successful in this role you should understand:

• Strong experience with networking products, including but not limited to
Cisco, Extreme, Meraki

• Experience with client-to-site & site-to-site VPN technologies is a
must

• Experience with Microsoft Azure

• Experience with NAC/NAP technologies such as Microsoft, Cisco ISE is a
plus

• Hands-on experience with the implementation and use of network and
security monitoring, fault management and performance analysis tools, including
Syslog, SNMP, Splunk, Solar winds

• Creative problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to
“think outside the box”

• Significant experience with network security concepts, and technologies
including, but not limited, to SSH, IPSec, RADIUS, TACACS, firewall policies,
and 802.1x

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience, with
a minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience in the implementation and
administration of complex, multi-location, multi-vendor, converged voice/data
networks in a geographically distributed environment

·  CCNA, CCNP, CISSP and other relevant security certifications are
highly desired
