VISTAS is looking for a Java Developer to join our App Development Team. The Java Developer will be the go-to resource for the on going business needs. Under limited supervision, this job identifies and analyzes business software needs, writes complex code to optimize the performance and efficiency of the organization’s IT platform/infrastructure and conducts testing to ensure programs are functioning properly. This job is considered a subject matter expert in the Applications Development & Support area. The role will offer opportunity to engage in many different applications.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• You will be exposed to many Open Sources tools to accomplish their goals
• You have a focus on Automating their processes within the high-volume environment
• You will be exposed to Cloud Technologies
• Should be able to troubleshoot issues related to performance, security and code quality

To be successful in this role you should understand:

• Expertise in Object Orient Programing knowledge
• 2+ years of experience in Java Development
• Expertise in Spring suite of Projects with hands-on development experience in the following: Spring MVC experience (Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Spring Data Flow, Spring Web Flow, and Spring Batch)

Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience with Java development
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in an Agile environment
• Strong written and verbal English skills.
